Social Media is not a passing fad – the new communication channel has become an integral part of the pharmaceutical industry’s ecosystem. But exactly how social media information will be used remains a bit murky.

The answer is customer relationship management. Both social media and CRM have the same purpose – building relationships – and used together, sales representatives can not only build more and better relationships, they can turn those relationships into sales.
