IBM setzt bei Cloud Computing auf Technologie von Red Hat

März 2010 - Als technologisches Kernstück seiner Smart Business Development and Test Cloud nutzt IBM ab sofort Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor von Red Hat, dem weltweit führenden Anbieter von Open-Source-Lösungen. „Im Mittelpunkt der langjährigen Partnerschaft mit Red Hat standen immer Kundennutzen und Innovation. Als Reaktion auf die starke Nachfrage nach Cloud-Computing-Services haben wir die Partnerschaft jetzt um diesen Bereich erweitert“, erklärt Maria Azua, Vice President Cloud Computing Enablement bei IBM. „Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization ist eine optimale Hypervisor-Technologie für die Infrastrukturangebote der IBM-Cloud.”
